Create a new Overcharts account #

To use Overcharts you MUST have an account. To create an account, follow these steps:

  1. Download and install Overcharts, then launch it by double-clicking the Overcharts icon on your desktop.
  2. In the login window, press CREATE a new ACCOUNT.
  3. Choose an account NAME, a PASSWORD and enter your EMAIL ADDRESS.
  4. We will send you a confirmation email to the address entered. To complete registration you MUST confirm the validity of your email address within 5 days. After 5 days you will no longer be able to access Overcharts until you verify your email. So please DO NOT use a temporary email address or an address you do not have access to. Entering a correct email address is essential!

The welcome email containing the verification code will be sent to you within 5 / 10 minutes.

Verify your email address #

To verify your email address:

  1. Wait for the welcome email containing the verification code. The email is NOT sent instantly! It takes 5/10 minutes. Also check your spam folder! If you have not received anything after 10 minutes, you probably entered an incorrect email address when creating your account. You can change your email address by following the instructions described in the Change Email Address section.
  2. Access the account settings window:
    • from the Overcharts main window > ACCOUNT menu > Settings
  3. In settings window, select Account section and press Verify new email address button.
  4. Enter the verification code we sent you with the welcome email.
  5. Press VERIFY button.

Change Email Address #

To change your email address, follow these steps:

  1. Access the account settings window:
    • from the Overcharts main window > ACCOUNT menu > Settings
  2. In settings window, select Account section and press Change EMAIL address button.
  3. Enter a new email address.
  4. For security reasons, enter your Overcharts account password.
  5. Press CHANGE button.
  6. Wait for the email containing the verification code. The email is NOT sent instantly! It takes 5/10 minutes. Also check your spam folder! If you have not received anything after 10 minutes, you probably entered an incorrect email address.
  7. In settings window, select Account section and press Verify new email address button.
  8. Enter the verification code and press VERIFY button.

The new email address will become your account reference address ONLY AFTER verification.
If you change idea, you can cancel the change to your email address BEFORE verifying it, from the Account section > Undo Email modification.

Change Password #

If you do not remember your current password, you CANNOT proceed with the change! Instead, you MUST reset your password by following the instructions described in the Reset Password section.

To change your Overcharts account password, follow these steps:

  1. Access the account settings window:
    • from the Overcharts main window > ACCOUNT menu > Settings
  2. In settings window, select Account section and press Change PASSWORD button.
  3. For security reasons, enter your current Overcharts account password. If you do not remember your current password, you CANNOT proceed with the change! Instead, you MUST reset your password by following the instructions described in the Reset Password section.
  4. Enter your new password.
  5. Press CHANGE button.

Reset Password #

If you do not remember your Overcharts account password, you MUST reset it.

To reset your password, follow the instructions described below.

If you are NOT able to access Overcharts:

  1. From Login window, press RECOVER a lost ACCOUNT button.
  2. Enter your Overcharts account NAME, or email address.
  3. Press RECOVER button.
  4. A new password will be sent to your account email address.
  5. Wait for the email containing the new password. The email is NOT sent instantly! It takes 5/10 minutes. Also check your spam folder!
  6. Log in using your new password.
  7. (optional but recommended) Once logged in, we recommend you change your password as you wish.

If you do not have access to the email address because it is no longer active, you CANNOT recover the account! If so, create a new Overcharts account! Contact our support ONLY AND EXCLUSIVELY if there is an active subscription in the account you want to recover. In all other cases we CANNOT help you recover your account.

If you can access Overcharts:

  1. From Overcharts main window > Account menu > select Reset Password.
  2. Overcharts will close automatically.
  3. Wait for the email containing the new password. The email is NOT sent instantly! It takes 5/10 minutes. Also check your spam folder!
  4. Log in again using your new password.
  5. (optional but recommended) Once logged in, we recommend you change your password as you wish.
