# Advanced Columns – Power Meter

The Power-Meter column measures buying/selling pressure by summing the traded quantities over the last *x* seconds, providing a dynamic and immediate view of market strength in the form of histograms.

The column updates ONLY with real-time data. Therefore, if the monitoring period (Last X Seconds) is set to 60, it will take 60 seconds to collect the data and obtain a reliable value.

### **Main Properties**

**Last x Seconds**: Specifies the number of seconds to use for calculating buying/selling pressure. The pressure is calculated by summing the traded quantities over the last *x* seconds (s*tarting from the date/time of the last received data*).

**Display As**: Specifies whether to display the pressure as a **Histogram** or as a **Split Column** (vertically).

**Column Position**: Defines the position of the column relative to other advanced columns.
